Environmental Management and Sustainable Operations
With corporate sustainability at its core, iST continues to internalize "energy conservation and carbon reduction", "environmental protection", and "green production" as fundamental principles of its operations and management. We are committed to complying with relevant environmental and energy laws and regulations while responding to the expectations of customers and stakeholders. We proactively align with government environmental policies and strive to reduce the environmental impact of our operations through systematic management and continuous improvement, fulfilling our responsibility for pollution prevention.
To strengthen environmental and occupational safety and health management, iST has maintained ISO 14001 environmental management system and ISO 45001 occupational safety and health management system certifications since 2019. Through these systematic mechanisms, we have continued to promote resource efficiency, pollution prevention, and environmental risk control, serving as a vital foundation for the Company's commitment to sustainable operations.
In terms of environmental management practices, iST follows its environmental policy of "resource utilization, pollution prevention, and continuous improvement" to ensure that all operational activities comply with relevant environmental regulations. Meanwhile, in response to climate change trends, iST has continued to promote GHG inventory and reduction management while gradually strengthening its data management and analysis capabilities. By accurately identifying sources of carbon emissions throughout its operations, the Company establishes a vital foundation for subsequent carbon reduction actions and management decisions, steadily advancing toward its goals of low-carbon and sustainable operations.
iST acquired the TÜV NORD ISO 14001: 2015 environmental management system certificate in 2019.
ESH Policy
iST is committed to providing comprehensive testing and professional analytical engineering services, including Failure Analysis, Reliability Verification, Material Analysis, and Hardware Solutions. To care for our employees and protect the environment, we strive to provide a healthy and safe workplace, support employees’ physical and mental well-being and development, and practice environmental protection and energy conservation in our daily operations.
To reduce the environmental and occupational safety and health impacts caused by operations, facilities, and activities, iST is committed to:
1. Abide to the Law Compliance:
Comply with applicable national ESH laws and regulations and other requirements.
2. Execute ESH Risk Control
Continuously promote risk management, provide appropriate protective facilities or operational controls, and reduce safety and health risks and environmental impacts.
3. Improve Continuously
Prevent hazards and environmental impacts, pursue continuous improvement, establish goals and plans, and continuously assess, review, and enhance our performance in safety, health, and environmental protection.
4. Enhance ESH Awareness
Strengthen the ESH responsibilities of all employees and continue to promote environmental, safety and health related awareness and skills.
5. Promote Environmental Sustainability
Address global climate change issues, reduce environmental impacts, promote energy conservation and carbon reduction, and progressively move toward the goal of net zero.
6. Provide Consultation and Communication
Strengthen consultation with employees and their representatives, interact with interested parties, establish channels for relevant information, and respond appropriately.
