- Communication with stakeholders
Communication with stakeholders and the identification of material topics are important aspects of corporate social responsibility. Through this process, iST gains an understanding of the issues of concern to its stakeholders. Through disclosures in this Sustainability Report, iST enables stakeholders to understand the Company's efforts and performance in corporate social responsibility in 2025.
The iST ESG Committee identifies and selects material topics based on the substantive issues identified through the daily operations of relevant departments and internal and external business communications. Stakeholders are identified based on organizational operations, interactions with stakeholders, and the principle of inclusivity. With reference to the GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards and the AA1000 Stakeholder Engagement Standard (AA1000 SES, 2015), iST has established a process for identifying material topics related to corporate sustainable development and determining the basis for disclosures in the Sustainability Report. Through this process, iST identifies priority stakeholders and their key concerns and develops appropriate responses. The primary stakeholder groups identified comprise six categories: customers, employees, shareholders/investors, suppliers/contractors, government/industry associations, and society.
As stakeholder engagement is an important part of iST's sustainability issue management, in addition to interacting with stakeholders through various forms of daily business activities, the Company also engages with stakeholders through various channels, including telephone communication, the ESG website, satisfaction surveys, on-site visits, and participation in industry associations. Issues of concern raised by stakeholders are identified as material topics and addressed through this Sustainability Report. The ESG Committee is responsible for regularly identifying stakeholders, collecting and reviewing issues of concern to stakeholders and the effectiveness of ESG initiatives, and regularly reporting the relevant implementation results to the Board of Directors.
