CO-PROSPERITY FORCE

As a leader in the verification and analysis field of the electronics industry, we know very well that the actions we take will affect the customers, suppliers, our life, the communities at our business locations, and the global climate and environment. Keeping our responsibilities in mind, we fulfill our corporate social responsibilities while pursuing the growth of our business, and are dedicated to caring for the disadvantaged groups and promoting the environmental safety, diverse and inclusive workplace, and other aspects.
iST's primary facilities are concentrated in the Hsinchu area, with the exception of the Neihu Plant which is located in an office and plant building. The characteristics of an industrial cluster are evident in these locations. Currently, the Brand Planning Department and the Welfare Committee have been communicating with local communities to perform environmental and social impact assessments, as well as to analyze the risks and opportunities within these communities. There were no significant environmental, social and economic impacts on surrounding communities and neighboring plants during the reporting period. iST also complies with the environmental and safety requirements of the competent authorities by undergoing periodic inspections and actively implementing improvements. These efforts ensure employee safety and that operational activities do not impact the environment, demonstrating a high degree of commitment to environmental sustainability.
In addition, iST has no potential negative impact on the communities at the places where our operating bases are located. Over the years, we have continued to cultivate future talent for the technology industry and students in remote and rural areas by supporting surrounding social welfare organizations and providing scholarships. These efforts have enhanced future competitiveness and—combined with social welfare activities organized with the community—promoted social harmony and community recognition.
iST further provides volunteer leave to encourage employees to give back to the community and enhance their social engagement.
Empowering the Underprivileged for a Brighter Future
Guided by our commitment to corporate social responsibility and sustainable development, we have actively engaged in public welfare initiatives to give back to society through tangible actions. In 2025, we conducted various social welfare initiatives spanning multiple areas, including educational empowerment, support for the underprivileged, and environmental protection. We believe that by sharing resources and providing active support, we can narrow the urban-rural gap, improve the lives of disadvantaged groups, and further promote social inclusion and harmonious development.
Youth Empowerment
Young people are a vital driving force for social innovation and industrial development, as well as key partners in corporate sustainable development. iST adheres to the core philosophy of "people-oriented" and firmly believes that cultivating youth is not only a vital component of the corporate talent strategy but also a concrete action to give back to society and promote intergenerational well-being. Therefore, we focus on the two pillars of talent cultivation and educational equality to build a diverse and influential youth empowerment system through industry-academia collaboration and educational philanthropy.
On the industry side, we collaborate with universities and government projects to establish a comprehensive development pathway spanning campus learning, internship training, and workplace transition. These initiatives assist young students in enhancing their professional skills and successfully entering the workforce, thereby narrowing the gap between academia and industry and cultivating key future talent. On the education side, we address the uneven distribution of educational resources by partnering with educational organizations to reach remote areas and special needs groups. Through science education and mentorship, we expand students' horizons and enhance their learning opportunities.
Through a dual-track youth empowerment strategy bridging industry and education, iST is not only committed to cultivating industry talent with professional expertise and a global perspective but also aims to create a more equitable and diverse learning environment for the next generation. At iST, we are committed to continuing to drive talent sustainability and social co-prosperity through concrete actions.
Industry-Academia Collaboration
In today’s rapidly evolving technology landscape, technological innovation and talent development are essential to sustainable corporate growth. Recognizing that close collaboration with academia is key to cultivating outstanding talent that meets industry needs, iST actively promotes diverse industry-academia partnerships. Through initiatives including campus recruitment, elite talent scholarships, diverse internship programs, pre-employment programs for new graduates, technical subsidies for testing and analysis, foundational learning programs, professional training programs, expert lectures, the iST Academy, and international programs, iST is building a comprehensive talent development ecosystem to nurture future talent and support the continued growth of the technology industry.
iST has established long-term partnerships with leading universities, including National Tsing Hua University, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, National Taipei University of Technology, Tamkang University, Lunghwa University of Science and Technology, Minghsin University of Science and Technology, Fooyin University, and Chung Hua University. Through these partnerships, iST continues to attract outstanding talent and advance its long-term talent sustainability goals. iST also maintains close collaboration with government agencies to develop and promote initiatives that support career development and employment opportunities, contributing to employment growth and sustainable social development.

Government Collaboration – Employment Promotion
iST actively supports government initiatives aimed at promoting employment and expanding career opportunities for the younger generation. Through various collaborative programs, iST provides young people with greater opportunities to enter the technology industry. We believe that active corporate participation in talent development not only enhances the employability of job seekers but also helps cultivate a strong pipeline of skilled talent for the industry.
Through collaboration with government agencies, iST is committed to providing young people with opportunities for career development and supporting their transition into the workplace. We hope these partnerships can serve as a gateway for the younger generation to enter the industry, helping them build a strong foundation for their future careers and strengthen their competitiveness in the workplace. iST actively participates in a range of government-supported programs, including the College Student Pre-Employment Program, Digital Innovation Youth Talent Development and Employment Program, Ministry of Labor Employment Program, Ministry of Education Industry-Academia Collaboration Program, and National Science and Technology Council Talent Development Subsidy Program for Science Parks.

Rural education empowerment - Collaborating with educational organizations to bridge the urban-rural education resource gap
Education is the key to transforming the future; however, children in rural areas often face a lack of resources, making it difficult for them to access the same learning opportunities as their urban counterparts. We have long been committed to rural education, emotional education, and mental health. By partnering with professional educational organizations, we provide diverse learning resources that help students broaden their horizons and foster a greater interest in learning. In 2025, the educational collaboration projects partnered with 276 schools, benefiting 660 students.
In partnership with the "Fun with Chemistry" project, we have reached out to underserved areas to lead schoolchildren in engaging science experiments. Through these hands-on experiences, children have been able to grasp scientific principles and bolster their motivation to learn. Furthermore, we collaborated with external institutions to support a sensory integration volunteer program for children with rare diseases. Through companionship and guidance provided by our volunteers, we helped children with special needs engage in sensory integration training, enhancing their learning abilities and adaptability to daily life.

Charitable Activities – We support public welfare groups across all sectors of society, practice the spirit of giving timely assistance to those in need, and contribute to the community
For years, iST has remained dedicated to supporting public welfare groups across all sectors of society. Through concrete actions, we assist people with disabilities, those lacking self-sufficiency, and the elderly. We have also extended our reach to environmental conservation by regularly organizing coastal cleanups, providing meaningful support for both the people and the land. To foster a culture of volunteerism, iST actively encourages employees to participate in volunteer activities, such as social welfare and ecological conservation. The Company has also established a "volunteer leave" policy to incentivize employees to dedicate themselves to public interest initiatives. In 2025, the number of social welfare organizations subsidized by iST reached 16. In addition, we held 66 charity sales and completed one beach cleanup, contributing 980 volunteer service hours and benefiting a total of 445 individuals through our public welfare activities.
We support charity sales for products from disadvantaged groups to help trainees at sheltered workshops sell their goods, enhancing their economic independence and raising public awareness of these dedicated workers. Furthermore, we encourage individuals with disabilities to cultivate self-reliance through agricultural work, enhancing their social participation and sense of self-worth. Amidst the growing challenges of an aging society, we remain attentive to the needs of elderly individuals living alone. We participated in the "Shopping with the Elderly" event, where volunteers accompanied seniors to shop for daily necessities. This initiative provided them with practical assistance while offering emotional companionship and support.

Environmental Action Initiatives
iST designates "Earth Day" as a key milestone for its annual environmental sustainability initiatives. Through advocacy campaigns, we have heightened employee awareness regarding climate change and environmental protection issues, while integrating sustainability into our corporate culture to strengthen the sense of environmental responsibility among all staff members.
Marine Conservation Initiatives
In 2025, iST organized its fifth corporate beach cleanup, calling on nearly a hundred colleagues to dedicate themselves to coastal cleanup and attracting many employees to participate alongside their families. Through parent-child collaboration, environmental education was deepened during the hands-on process of collecting coastal waste. This initiative enhanced awareness of marine pollution and waste reduction while demonstrating the Company's concrete commitment to environmental protection.
Daily Sustainability Practices and Engagement Results
In addition to large-scale environmental actions, iST has continued to promote diverse environmental activities. These include vegetarianism promotion, handmade planting, recovery of used batteries, reusable cup initiatives, interactive environmental knowledge quizzes, and environmental-themed short films. Doing so encourages employees to practice sustainable actions in their daily lives.
As of 2025, the cumulative number of participants in environment-related activities has exceeded 606, demonstrating that the concept of environmental protection has been progressively internalized as part of the corporate culture. Looking ahead, iST will continue to expand the impact of its environmental initiatives. By leveraging corporate resources and fostering social engagement, we aim to drive deeper and broader sustainable development actions.
