At iST, we believe in the transformative power of education. In May and June 2024, iST joined hands with our long-time partner, the Chemistry On-The-Go team from Tamkang University’s Center for Science Education, to bring fun and engaging chemistry experiments to three schools in the Hsinchu area: Shuiyuan Elementary School, Baoshan Junior High School, and Huashan Junior High School.

Through interactive demonstrations and guided hands-on experiments, students experienced the wonders of chemistry in a lively and accessible way. They discovered how science connects to everyday life, sparking curiosity and encouraging scientific exploration. iST volunteers supported the sessions throughout, assisting with experiments and engaging with the students, all while soaking up the youthful energy of the classroom.

Each school visit became more than just a learning activity—it was a meaningful exchange between generations. For our employee volunteers, these interactions provided not only joy and inspiration but also a renewed sense of purpose in contributing to educational equity.

iST is committed to building a more inclusive future through education. We will continue to work closely with academic and community partners to provide local students with greater access to science resources, helping to narrow the education gap and create a brighter, more hopeful tomorrow.
