In every corner of our society, there are people quietly struggling with life’s burdens.
Many of them once had families, jobs, and dreams. Yet due to illness, financial hardship, or life-changing setbacks, they lost their footing and gradually drifted onto the streets.
Upholding its mission of “Connecting Technology with Humanity,” iST continues to promote diverse acts of social care.
This year, we joined hands with the Hsinchu Chu-An Charity Association, supporting its long-term Homeless Outreach and Companionship Program — an initiative dedicated to helping those without shelter regain motivation, confidence, and the courage to rebuild their lives.
Chu-An has long been deeply rooted in the Hsinchu community, understanding the loneliness and vulnerability faced by those living on society’s margins.
Many homeless individuals still hold a sincere wish to start over, but past trauma, fragile health, and social stigma often make that first step extremely difficult.
To reconnect with them, Chu-An’s volunteers often begin with something simple yet powerful — food.
A warm meal or a cup of hot soup often becomes the bridge to conversation, slowly opening the hearts of those long closed off by hardship.
iST’s participation focuses on sponsoring the program’s stable food supply, ensuring that Chu-An can continue its work without financial strain, and devote more energy to providing emotional support and reintegration assistance.
We believe that steady support can create lasting change — and when society offers understanding and opportunity, everyone deserves a chance to begin again.
iST will continue to transform compassion into action, practicing sustainability not only through resources, but through respect, empathy, and companionship.
Each partnership, each small act of care, becomes a light guiding our society toward kindness and hope.
