According to a report by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), approximately 92 million tons of textile waste are produced globally each year. This is equivalent to discarding a garbage truck’s worth of clothing every second

The large amount of discarded old clothes not only occupies valuable landfill space but also releases harmful substances, polluting soil and water sources. Through clothes recycling activities, we can effectively reduce waste production and minimize ecological damage, while also helping those in need.

To promote sustainability, iST organized a clothes recycling event this month, donating all collected garments to the HCSCI. Across three events, we collected a total of 52 large boxes of clothing, once again demonstrating the passion and full support of iST employees for charitable activities!

iST firmly believes that companies should not only pursue economic benefits but also bear social responsibility and give back to the community.

We understand that this event is just a small step in our journey of public service. In the future, we will continue to commit to more similar charitable projects and hope to invite more support and participation from all sectors of society. As global citizens, we can only create a better future by working together.
