Tamkang University Students Invited to Explore the Daily Work of Semiconductor Engineers

Before choosing a job or further studies, I want to know: What skills are required for an engineer in the semiconductor industry? Is my personality suitable for this career?

iST is committed to talent cultivation. We once again invited junior and senior students from the Department of Physics and the Department of Advanced Materials Science of Tamkang University to visit the laboratory together.Through various experiences, students gained insights into the professional skills and daily work of semiconductor engineers .

We visited the “Failure Analysis Lab” and the “Reliability Assurance Lab”.In addition to understanding the engineers' working environment, we closely observed how they collaborate in their daily tasks  . We invited an upperclassman of the Department of Physics to share his career and work experiences with the students to provide the most practical guidance for their future careers.

Through engaging introductions at each station, students not only asked questions but also took valuable notes . The activity time was even exceeded at the final Q&A stage, showing the students' strong curiosity and confidence in their future career development.

We hope that this visit can bring students at Tamkang University a wealth of learning experience and help them take their future career to the next level.
